Who we are

Zero Label Cropper is operated by Zero Infotech, Surat, Gujarat, India. It provides shipping-label cropping and seller analytics for Indian e-commerce sellers on marketplaces such as Meesho and Flipkart.

This policy covers two separate products: the website at zerolabelcropper.com, and the "Zero Label Cropper" Android app. They handle data differently, so each is described on its own below.

The Android app: nothing leaves your phone

The Android app does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. It has no login, no account and no server component. It makes no network requests of any kind, and it declares no Android permissions at all.

• Your label PDF is opened, read and re-written entirely on your device. It is never uploaded.
• The cropped PDF is written only when you tap Save / Share, and only into the app's private cache area, which other apps cannot read. Uninstalling the app removes it.
• The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software.
• To count repeat buyers, buyer name, pincode and address are combined into a short one-way hash in memory and the original values are discarded. The hash is not stored and cannot be turned back into an address.
• The only thing stored on the device is a single flag remembering that you dismissed an information bubble. It holds no order or customer data, and the app is excluded from Android's cloud backup.

The website: what we store and why

The website is an account-based service, so it necessarily stores data on our servers in order to work. We collect only what the features you use require.

• Account details: mobile number, and email address and name if you sign in with Google. Your mobile number is used to send one-time passcodes for sign-in.
• Label files you upload, and the order details extracted from them (order and sub-order IDs, SKU, size, quantity, courier, seller firm, buyer name, address and pincode). This is what makes return matching and risk scoring possible.
• Settlement and returns workbooks you upload, and the figures taken from them, used to produce your profit-and-loss and settlement reports.
• Usage records needed to run the service: crop jobs, wallet and coin balance, invoices, and basic technical logs such as timestamps and error traces.

Who your data is shared with

We do not sell your data. Your business data — the label files you upload, your order and buyer details, and your settlement and profit figures — is never shared with advertisers or data brokers, and is never used to build profiles for anyone else.

The website does use one advertising measurement tool, which sees which pages you visit but none of the data above. It is described in the next section.

We use a small number of service providers strictly to operate the website: Google Cloud (hosting, database and file storage, in the Mumbai region), Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in), MSG91 (delivering sign-in passcodes by SMS) and a payment gateway when you buy coins. Each receives only what its function needs.

We may disclose data where the law requires it. Otherwise your uploaded label and settlement data is visible only to your own account.

Advertising measurement on the website

We advertise this service on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether those adverts actually bring sellers to us, the website loads the Meta Pixel, a small script from Meta Platforms. It is used for measurement, not to decide anything about you.

• What it sees: the pages you open on this website and, once we add them, a few milestones such as creating an account or buying coins. It does not see your label files, your buyers, your orders, your settlement figures or your coin balance.
• To match a visit to an advert you may have clicked elsewhere, your email address is converted into a one-way hash in your browser and only that hash is sent. Your actual email address is never sent to Meta by this website.
• It does not run on admin pages, and it does not run at all if you use a browser or extension that blocks it. Blocking it costs you nothing — every feature works the same either way.
• Meta uses this data under its own terms, which we do not control. You can limit ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and most browsers let you block third-party scripts and cookies outright.
• The Android app remains completely free of this. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, as described above.

How long we keep it

Uploaded files and the data extracted from them are retained while your account is active, because return matching and risk scoring compare new orders against your order history. Delete your account and we remove your uploaded files and extracted order data; records we must retain for tax or accounting purposes are kept only as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the data held about your account, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Email support@zerolabelcropper.com from your registered address or contact us through the Customer Care page and we will act on it.

The Android app holds nothing to request or delete: uninstalling it removes everything it ever wrote.

Children

The service is a business tool for e-commerce sellers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with access restricted to the account it belongs to. Sign-in uses one-time passcodes or Google sign-in, so we never store a password of yours. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect precisely so that there is less at risk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and, where the change affects how your data is used, tell you in the app or by email.
